Backstory:TW: alcohol abuse, mentions of mental illnessCoping with alcohol probably wasn’t the smartest thing he could do but he did it anyways, partying and drinking until he could barely think being the only way the other could function when he was left home alone. The male constantly growing up around the same concept so the adult version of himself believed it was the only way to ever live, his own issues being drowned in the only thing he knew. Being alone made him slip back into his old habits, the male doing very good at cutting everyone off in order to let his depression take over and be almost paralyzing. He did his best to hide it from the other’s, doing well until he didn’t have a way to not be sober. His anxiety was hard to hide then, but not so much when he had a mask to hide it with. He struggled with finding a balance and it unfortunately affected most relationships he even tried to have until he began to learn how to control it. Despite the issues he had not going away he eventually learned to control it and no longer relied on it to feel okay even though he allocated the weekends for partying and drinking still, he had learned his limits and didn’t overdo it anymore. It didn't mean he didn't still continue to struggle, his mind being hard to rewire to understand that the way he tried to deal with things wasn't the way he should do so

Backstory:Tw //mentions of murder , mentions of abuse , mentions of suicideYong had a loving mother but had a father who wasn’t nice by no means, in fact the man was evil. He would frequently hit his mother while making him watch, the boy trying to defend his mother but failing each time as it resulted in him getting threatened . Young and defenseless, all Yong could do was hide in the corner clinging to his stuffed animal as he cried out for his mom who still reassured the poor boy during the toughest parts of her own life. One day things weren’t right and his father killed her mother before taking his own life while Yong was asleep in his room just next to theirs, leaving yong unharmed and alone. Traumatized and not able to fully understand what happened, he clung to his mom for hours until a neighbor came by since they hadn’t brought the boy over to stay with her while his parents worked. Yong was removed and was sent to live with his grandmother until he was old enough to be on his own, the death of her only adding onto his fear of abandonment. The frequent nightmares never went away, even as an adult screaming sent him into panic, the male unable to communicate so instead he does what he did as a child and hides wherever he can, completely shutting down around any form of fighting or screaming without meaning to. The male struggled to find any form of attachment that didn't absolutely terrify him, learning once he formed a group with other people that he overcompensated heavily to try and make up for the love that he didn't recieve as a child. He vowed to protect the ones he loved even if it meant that he himself would possibly be hurt in the long run as well.

Mateo Jeong

Backstory:TW// mentions of abuseSome of mateo’s first memories were of him having to pull his father off of his mother, the boy never knowing peace until his father was finally arrested for hurting his mom. He was never able to lay a hand on him despite how he tried because his mom threw herself between them everytime to protect her son. It didn’t end there, his first relationship bringing its own trauma with it as well. He would be hit, he would be burnt and the verbal abuse went even deeper than that. The male wished everyday that he would just be hit rather than the words that were constantly spat at him. Mateo being too terrified to leave had to find his own will to live, his mother being the only thing that got him through it all despite not being able to see her for almost 3 years until he managed to flee the country and move far away from the other, moving his mom immedietely to protect her from the man who threatened to harm her if he would have ever found her. Even then the thoughts and words stayed with him, the other realizing just how quickly he shut down when things happened simply from the way other people slightly raised their voices at him. He had also been taken under yong’s care when he found out he had signed under his label, the other doing his best to accept the help despite how he was scared to even think about getting close to anyone ever again, not understanding how someone could ever care for him in any way that was healthy. Being shown genuine love feels almost impossible for him, never fully trusting that people’s intentions are true since he has never felt genuine love in his entire life before

Backstory:Being told by everyone around him that he’d never amount to anything the male began to believe it, almost completely giving up until he had finally been able to leave home with the help of his parents who had gone behind the rest of the families back to send him. Barely knowing how to function on his own he happened to stumble along someone who promised to care for him, the young teen already terrified took a leap of faith and trusted the person. This is where he was introduced to the people who would end up being the reason he survived, yong having brought him home and recruiting him to join the small group they were already forming. It didn’t take long for him to warm up to the other’s, spoon becoming one of the people to defend and protect them without hesitation. Through his own will he learned how to take care of himself, his own well being soon becoming the least important thing to himself as he began to care for others in order to make up for the fact that he himself hadn't been taken care of for the majority of his life since he was made to grow up too early in order for him to be protected

Backstory:Mason was probably one of the happiest kids growing up despite being raised by a single mom since his father passed away only weeks before his birth in a crash that almost took the life of him and his mother as well before he was even born- leading to him being born early and having to spend the first few months of his life in the hospital. he never felt as if he was in any sort of situation that was going to harm him so when he grew up he vowed to take care of his mother, wanting to make sure she never had to worry about anything. So he worked hard, put himself through school until he ultimately dropped out to chase the passion of singing, it not taking long before he was signed and found the others. He soon became the person they all leaned on, his kind and nurturing nature that he got from his mom helping him become the person they could all rely on, mason giving her full credit for how kind and loving he was every single chance that he could. It ultimately became his goal to take care of not only his mom but the people around him who he had soon grown to love as his own family even if he wouldn’t actually admit it to some of them

Eli Kang

Backstory:TW// mentions of abuse, mentions of suicideLife for eli was never perfect, between the turmoil of being bullied at school to the constant mental and physical abuse he received at home the boy never had a break from it all. His mother being the one to harm him but them blame it on his brother if the topic ever got questioned, Eli being too terrified to ever speak up and say the truth to anyone if they ever asked, the young boy always sticking to the story he was scripted to say. On more than one occasion he attempted to take his own life, being saved miraculously by his so called parents who would play the hysterical parents when they had to before going back to harming him and making him feel bad for even trying to leave. His brother never tried to help, playing into all of the abuse as much as he could in order to earn the title of his parents favorite child. Eli was young and helpless, his parents being rich only adding onto the neglect he recieved since they were never around in the first place, eli longing for their love despite how he knew he was deemed as unworthy of any of it. The boy eventually ran away, confused and scared he ran into minhyung, the male taking him in without hesitation to keep him out of the cold. He was completely terrified of the male but slowly he learned to trust, minhyung being the first genuine person to ever be a part of his life, eventually gaining the will to live again with the help of the other.

Backstory:Growing up ezra was labeled as the ‘quiet one’, the boy never really saying anything until he was almost a teen which always worried his parents despite the fact that his father would continuously call him stupid or ignorant every time he drank and his mother wasn't around. The boy was nonverbal by choice, never having anything to say since his whole life he was always told that most of the things he saw were never true so he decided he never needed to speak on anything if that was the case, letting everyone think that he simply couldn't communicate well. Even when he moved he still stayed quiet, this time simply being labeled as shy which he didn’t mind since it meant everyone pretty much left him alone as he trained to be a singer which had anyone who knew him doubled over in laughter. Barely anyone was ever able to break the boy out of his shell, even still keeping to himself majority of the time simply because he felt as if he would inconvenience people. Eventually his voice began to be heard and he became one of the faces of his group, this being the moment in his life he felt seen enough to speak and allow himself to have his own voice

Backstory:TW// mentions of verbal abuse“You’re too much”, “Can’t you sit down and be quiet for once”, “You need to learn how to act your age for once” were only a few of the phrases that ethan had heard throughout his entire life, it being a never ending cycle until he finally left when he got the opportunity. The boy always feeling as if he could never actually be himself without being ridiculed by every single person around him until he met Eli through a mutual friend, the other becoming one of his only friends as they grew up, ethan knowing the other for most of his life. Slowly he stopped trying to change the way he was, the energetic boy slowly learning that it was okay to be how he was with the help of Eli along the way, the boy soon learning how to embrace who he was but still facing the challenge of people still thinking he was too much. The people pleaser in him still stuck out more than anything else in his personality, things affecting the boy more than they should as the sensitivity he had gained during his life never seemed to go away no matter how old he got.

Backstory:Tw// Mentions of mental illnessEver since he could remember minhyung was plagued with his own anxiety, the feeling that he would never be enough and the way he tried to do more than his own body could keep up with in order to do what he thought would make him be the best he could. He picked up every instrument he could growing up, writing lyrics countless nights and going to school the next day without an hour of sleep. Being offered a job at such a young age that required him to leave home only escalated the anxiety to the point it was almost crippling for a boy who was barely even a teenager. For the first year he was forced to be alone, producers and seniors stealing his work to mark as their own while the defenseless boy was never allowed to speak on it or he would risk being tossed out as well. He was made to live alone, the other trainees at his first job never having anything to do with him even though he worked himself to the edge writing the songs for their albums without much compensation for it. That was until Yong began recruiting for his own artists, the shy boy hiding in the corner clinging to a notebook who was practically shaking in fear being who he chose to take. Things got better once yong came around, the elder helping min with his writing to the point where his credits were now on his songs and he started the fight to get him the credits for the work that the others had been stealing. Slowly his anxiety became better, he began to feel happier and take more pride in what he did no matter how exhausting it was for him.
